Containerlift are recruiting for an additional team member for our internal sales team. There is an option to work some hours at home, after completion of training/ probationary period.
Our Internal Sales Team act as the first point of contact with the customer. The role involves proactively building and maintaining both our existing customer base and developing new sales opportunities. It is therefore important that the candidate would be confident in this proactive phone setting. The role involves providing customers with logistics solutions; including handling a mix of UK container transport requirements and import and export shipping requirements.
A telesales, strong customer service or a sales type background is important. Shipping experience is beneficial, however, those without this experience will still be considered for the position. Candidates should be confident in dealing with customers and cultivating client relationships, capitalising on commercial opportunities to achieve our sales targets.
Hours are Monday to Friday 08:00 – 18:00. We currently run a shift system for the team rotating through the following: 08:00-17:00, 08:30-17:30, and 09:00-18:00.
